Pics of a couple cute boys modeling the beanies

Here are a couple pics of a couple beanies I've made for my boys. These are both infant/toddler size.
One is on a 7 month old and the other is on a 2 1/2 year old.

Christmas is coming and winter is here...

Christmas is coming and winter is here, and beanies are perfect for this time of year!

You still have a little time to order a beanie for Christmas if you like! The scrubbies make a perfect gift as well! I've been using one of my plain yarn dish scrubbies for a few weeks now and I LOVE it! It gets in those smaller to reach areas with out having a huge piece of cloth in there making it impossible to clean thoroughly. I even like it better than the regular green scrubbies you buy from the stores. It may not be as course but it cleans a heck of a lot better and even though it's yarn it scrubs good. The best part is when it's dirty I throw it in the washer and wash it like I would a wash cloth. Once it's clean I put it back to use!

My new creation!

My husband wanted me to make him some scrubbies that were smaller, more cloth like, and something he could take to work to wash his dishes off with, yes he washes his dishes at work before bringing them home. So I got busy and made him one. I still need to make at least one more for him. This is what they look like.

Scrubbie in the palm of my hand.

It's about a 3in diameter circle.

Some more....

This is the Pink beanie I made for my friend. This was before I sent it.

Beanie for a friend

Here is a picture of a beanie that I made for a friend who just had a very successful VBAC and a baby girl. I loved making this for her. I don't get to do much with pink so it was very fun!

The start of the beanie making.

My beanies, so far they are very sturdy and have actually made it through a washer and dryer cycle. :) I think that is quite an accomplishment.

This is my work so far.
This is my handsome boy modeling his. This is the infant toddler size.
For an infant the bottom can be rolled up.
This is the newborn size. I don't have a newborn to model it on though.
